PulseGuard is operated by bestapps.pro, Cyprus. PulseGuard is built to keep your training data private. We don't run accounts, we don't collect telemetry, and we don't share data with third parties.
Data we collect
None. PulseGuard does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to our servers. We do not operate servers that receive your data.
Data the app reads on your device
Heart rate from your paired BLE sensor or Apple Watch — read locally over Bluetooth and used for in-app display, alerts, and to record workout sessions stored locally on your device. If you enable "Save to Apple Health", completed sessions are also written to Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) as workouts; this is opt-in and you can disable it at any time.
Apple Health / Health Connect
If you grant permission, PulseGuard reads a one-time snapshot of your profile (date of birth, biological sex, height, body mass, resting heart rate) from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android, when available) to suggest heart-rate zones. This snapshot stays on your device and can be cleared by revoking permission.
Bluetooth
PulseGuard uses Bluetooth Low Energy to discover and connect to standard heart-rate sensors. The list of paired devices is stored on your device.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). PulseGuard receives only an opaque purchase token used to verify entitlement; we do not see or store payment details, billing address, or your Google/Apple account email.
Data retention & deletion
No personal data is collected by PulseGuard, so there is nothing to retain or delete on our side. Local data (paired sensors, sessions, settings) is stored only on your device. To delete it, uninstall the app or use iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → PulseGuard → Delete App, or Android Settings → Apps → PulseGuard → Storage → Clear data. Sessions previously written to Apple Health or Health Connect can be removed from the respective system app.
Your rights
Because PulseGuard does not collect personal data, GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA data-subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) do not apply to data on our servers — we hold no such data. For data Google or Apple processes (purchase records, store account info), exercise your rights through their respective accounts and policies.
Children
PulseGuard is not directed at children under 13.
